Security and Privacy Impact Assessment (SPIA) Cookbook

• question about acronym SUR specificiation under review
  • SUR is internally defined, but is not referenced outside the document/common used term in HL7
  • the Standards Governance Board (SGB) has asked that SUR be fully defined or noted (i.e. link) where the term comes from
  • the acronym does come a referenced document (noted in SPIA)
• a glossary with the definition needs to be added (or at minimum footnoted) so CBCC/HL7 can say where acronym came from/with a good definition
• Note: SUR is not part of the HL7 process/terms

otherwise,

• Standards Governance Board ready to push forward as guidance when SUR definition/glossary completed
• SPIA document is recommended for HL7 standards and not mandated

CBCC FHIR Friday Call -

• approved CR 13477
  • took a page from the questionnaire resource; recursive element rule
  • resulting in one set of elements; and within that we have exceptions creating a tree structure
  • simple change that had been reviewed several time
