Minutes
Approve October 24th Minutes
- Motion to accept the Minutes for October 24 (Craig/Andy). Motion passed 9:0:0.
Question - Session on Technical Editing Project at Harmonization?
- Jay Lyle asked if we would have a session devoted to the Technical Editing Project at the upcoming Harmonization meeting.
- Due to the overlap with the ArB meetings, time may be limited.
- We decided to leave open the possibility of having a conference call on the topic during the first day of the Harmonization Meeting (November 11).
AMS-developed "model" of current behavioral framework, for comparison with ARB model
- AMS noted that we do not currently have a model that represents our behavior framework.
- He has put together a UML class diagram that represents what is currently described in the V3 Guide.
- We reviewed the model on the call and made a few minor modifications.
- For more information on this, look at the ArB's SAFE(sp?) effort.
Request for Location of minutes from McCaslin
- Craig will respond to the request for the location of MnM's minutes.
Discuss Datatypes R2, Datatypes R1.1, and Wrappers R2
- Some committees need features of Datatypes R2 and Wrappers R2, but since they are not complete, they cannot be normative in the upcoming release.
- R1.1 contains most of the features that the Canadians need.
- In general, R1.1 will contain as many of the R2 changes as possible that can be represented in R1 syntax.
- Woody stated the need to develop a migration plan during the Orlando WGM (January 2009). This should be a joint meeting with INM.
- Craig will contact INM to arrange a joint meeting.
Other TBD
- At the Harmonization Meeting: Early on Thursday there will be a session on Entity Name. This will be continued early on Friday if needed.
