Action Items

Minutes

  • Vancouver WGM Meeting minutes
    • Jim Kretz made a motion to approve the WGM minutes; Richard Thoreson approved
    • Vote: Unanimously approved
  • The remaining portion of today's meeting was dedicated to reviewing outstanding ballot comments
    • A question was raised related to the state transition diagram (Life Cycle of Behavioral Health Report) and whether it is representative of Arizona specific reporting, or intended to represent all states since some states do not distinguish between crisis and routine BH events (e.g., Oklahoma), and others may not even have the concept of a Behavioral Health Episode of Care (e.g., California).
    • The Behavioral Health Report - Life Cycle section may be updated if this DAM is revised in a subsequent phase of the project (following Implementation Guide Sept ballot)
    • To address the immediate concern of the applicability of the state transitions to all states, the episodeOfCareTypeCode has been changed to be an optional data element
  • The remaining outstanding ballot comments were reviewed and a motion to approve all dispositions to ballot comments was proposed by Serafina, Jim Kretz second
    • Vote: Unanimously approved
  • Next week's agenda will be dedicated to a planning session for the next phase - development of the CDA R2 Implementation Guide for Behavioral Health Reporting and 'balloting' proposed value sets for core Behavioral Health data elements

Meeting was adjourned at 1:00 PM Eastern
