- Methodology
- Action item from the TSC: what do we do with joint standards - those owned by both HL7 and some other body?
- Can we refer to the MOU?
- Two types:
- Joint custody - both ballot e.g. ISO
- Outside referrals to HL7
- Haven't seen anything in the MOUs i have seen.
- Both organizations may not have the same view as to the continuance of the spec.
- ISO may not have policy. Joint ballot process.
- Reaffirmation means someone wants to keep it - implies active maintainance.
- Sunset - no longer reaffirm, or reaffirmation is negative.
- Maybe Product Lifecycle -
- Introduction (conception)
- Growth (implementation)
- Maturity (no active changes)
- Decline (no longer in use)
- Maybe Dimensions:
- End of path
- stable, but can be modified if needed.
- Sunset: Valid products that are no longer being actively maintained.
- Standards are platform independent, tooling may be platform dependent.
- Dimensions: to typify specs e.g. end of path as opposed to stable, but can be modified if needed.
