Have a running system using V2, how do I justify moving to V3, esp as V2 just keeps getting better.
In v2.3.1 as a PDF -- one big document and using the find button is a great way to find what you want. This is particularly good as a single document.
How much information has to be shared with a trading partner. If the trading partner is V3 knowledgeble is it easier to do.
Implementers have to understand the RIM classes and attributes
The HL7 Templates SIG is charged with the task to define a set of provisions to facilitate production, implementation and comparison of HL7 V3 Template structures. The intent of this set of pages to to gather requriements and associated discussion regarding the HL7 Templates specification, and assist in developing an HL7 Draft Document. It is entirely possible that wording in this section will be incorporated into (or has come from) the Templates Draft Document.
