RFH Project Approval
Reviewed draft Project Scope Statement titled: Interoperability Resources for Healthcare (IR4H) Methodology Design
Adopted numerous small changes including:
- Add name of primary facilitator.
- Restructured Project Dependencies per G. Grieve through LM
- Revised name of Wiki page to spell it out as: Interoperability Resources for Healthcare
- Discussed fact that the name of the project is under active discussion in HL7, and that we would retain the current title (minus the acronym) until a final name is determined.
The resulting draft of the document is on Gforge.
Motion to Approve the above draft and forward to the Foundation and Technology Steering Division (en route to the TSC) - WB/AK - Unanimous
Expect review at FnTSD on 10/4 and at TSC on 10/10.
Meeting Support for Project
In the course of the discussion, the question arose about the potential requirement for face-to-face interim meetings to advance the topic. It was noted that the project will have two distinct phases, and that additional meetings were more likely to be needed in conjunction with the second phase:
- Creating a formal proposal as the foundation of the Methodology
- Harmonization of resources amongst themselves and with existing resources.
MnM Schedule of Conference Calls to January WGM
