Clinical Genomics Implementation Guide Ballot
Issue raised by Kreisler: Clinical Genomics HL7 Implementation Guide for CDA Release 2: Genetic Testing Reports, Release 1 ballot (DSTU) does not appear to be ready for a DSTU ballot.
The first paragraph in the balloted document states "In this ballot we introduce a preliminary draft (not yet for trial use) in order to seek initial feedback on the section outline of the Genetic Testing Report (GTR) as well as on design principles introduced in the GTR project scope statement (see below)."
It appears this should have been a draft for comment ballot, not a draft standard for trial use ballot. Opening the ballot pool as a DSTU may have been a mistake.
Motion: Request HQ to contact Clinical Genomics regarding the ballot pool. Should this be a draft for comment ballot instead of a DSTU ballot?
Move/Second by Kreisler/Duteau. 6 in favor, no opposed, no abstentions
Beeler will contact Don Lloyd to followup on this. If the pool is not changed to draft for comment, members of Publishing will negatively ballot the document.
