Introduction
1. There's a proposal to re-introduce the update-modes of Key, Ignore and Reference. We need to define how these will be used and satisfy ourselves that the issues around usage that led us to remove these update-modes in the first place 2. There's a concern about the proposed "Unknown" update mode, with a question of whether we should be using null flavor instead.
Resolution
