Talk:Batch Transmission Pattern
--[User:Alexander Henket|Alexander Henket] 08:23, 3 March 2009 (UTC) I was told that you should consider any batch to be a transaction. I.e. after receiving the initial batch you should stop interpreting the contained interactions upon encountering the first AE. This appears to be different logic than the logic suggested for interpreting a batch response. The suggestion is to unwrap the response batch wrapper and process -all- contained interactions therein without the need to treat the batch as a whole as a transaction. I would still support current wording because it aligns nicely with the way you would interpret a batch response to a query. You would not stop at the first error, but continue until the very last received interaction. Suggest to adjust wording so transactional processing vs. non-transactional processing is clear. One could even imagine that the approved issue Harmonization:_Batch.contentProcessingMode could have added vocab for transactional if required on responses.
