RIM Attribute Promotion

Jump to search
Attribute promotion is the process of moving an attribute from a specialized class in the RIM up to its parent class. Attribute promotion may occur when a Harmonization Proposal to move the attribute has been approved.
Attribute Promotion has no effects on RBMs such as R-MIMs nor on implementable artefacts. As such it has no Semantic Backward Compatibility issues associated with it.
