Issue
The LRI IG contains a Newborn profile but never defines the time period patient is considered a newborn
Recommendation
Add usage note to PID-7 Date/Time of Birth. Usage Note: The definition of "Newborn" for purposes of the LRI IG is for newborn screenings; the timeframe is up to 120 hours/5 days.

- 26-Mar-2013 - Motion to accept instead of the recommendation above the same language as being incorporated into LOI IG as errata:
- Newborn – a human infant from the time of birth through the 28th day of life per Mosby's Medical Dictionary, 8th edition. © 2009, Elsevier, and the World Health Organization standardization for perinatal definitions.
