Richard: we will work with HL7 and NIEM
HL7 BH Summary Domain Analysis Model -
(18:08) - Ioana
Three state pilots (Iowa, x, x)
- we would love for these states to participates, where they could be working with the BH record and extending the HL7 work as implementers. These would be beneficial to support the transition of care and looking MU criteria as an anchor.
NIEM seems to be a good target for us to develop vocabulary that works between different silos. It has had a great deal of work with criminal justice to health.
Ioana reviewed Reentry Scenarios and Data Anlysis.ppt Spreadsheet: J2H Exchanges/CJIS Support
- Exchange Synopsis 10 - release from detention information (criminal Justice Information System ---> Community Behavioral Health Provider (HIE)
- Exchange Synopsis 21 - Discharge summary to facilitate Continuity of Care
- Synopsis 22 - returning inmates receive copies of their correctional health records, unsure of electronic exchange
- Exchange Synopsis 31 - Criminal Charges and risk assessment
several of the use cases are involved with when are person is to be released, what is there criminal/health information for reentry
