We’re reballoting the implementation guide for Consent Directive as a normative specification. We’re reprising the ballot from May 2013. We want to include all the improvements to terminology that have been provided by the DS4P project. We want to identify specific conditions for the consent. In the original DS4P, we had left out some constraints, some coded data, and that’s what she was pointing out, that the Consent Directive does not restrain implementation policy. I’m trying to get a draft out for the committee’s review before the final publication. The deadline for DS4P is March 31. We’re in the middle of dropping content for the May 2014 ballot.
A DRAFT document is being completed by Ioana for review by the WG before the May 2014 ballot.
NIEM - National Information Exchange Model
Is drug abuse a problem in WV? Yes, its a big problem. Another question I have - I'm wondering if there are standardized index forms? (MikeL) We currently do not have a personal assessment form related to this. We're not there yet, national council is not working on this.
currently the funding for the discretionary grant program is focused on the pregnant and post-partum women. Information that may be useful for them and the providers to avoid duplication or missing pieces of care.
