Meeting Minutes DRAFT

June 26 - Meeting minutes reviewed

  • Motion made to approve (Suzanne / Johnathan)

FHIR Consent David Pyke is working through an issue - between FHIR contract and FHIR resource

  • Kathleen's message to DPyke (no profile to consent); will remove with the build (no profile in the plans for the update); it will be removed
  • front matter in the consent that was the derivative in a table - some is not applicable (DaveP to resend)
    • some of the front matter still applies--- some does not/ Kathleen needs to review (some front matter deals with fragments which are not done)
  • Note: Nine international implementations, others
    • working through US-realm, SAMHSA (with FHIR consent being rolled out)
  • if you have consent in your project/FHIR DaveP will be happy to introduce how others are using it
  • Dave is hoping to get steps from Patient Choice Project to make changes to handle research in the US
    • DaveP/Kathleen would like to schedule review meetings on Patient Choice
    • positive news from Grahame newsletter on MiHIN
      • doing some consent work -a portal used for demonstrations (granular patient choice) created a question response and created a contract to make access control decision on who can share Behavioral Health information. They have html for their portal using the consent resource. Initially using it instead of questionnaire---but have moved over to questionnaire. (project is complete)
    • link to information to share ? (Vimeo was supposed to be created - Kathleen to follow up)
  • JMoehrke put out a call on Zulip if anyone is interested in consumer engagement connectathon track in Baltimore; JohnM is happy to promote but need to received information to apply to that soon...to find who is interested. One thing that we're up against is those who are doing stuff with consent are currently comfortable and do not need a connectathon to confirm. Without support by those willing to do that, it’s hard to get new people engaged. John is putting it out there that we can continue to host that type of Connectathon--but we should get new folk in... it’s not beneficial to have previous folk there.
    • people from MiHIN and DXC would like to continue (Stan putting proposal forward) for consumer centered data exchange. probably will be using questionnaire-response and consent as well. Venders from the educational community who want to be able to use consent or contract , for sharing immunization sharing/consent... currently being explored at MiHIN
  •  ? find a plate that we can use as a communication lead off--that will get information outside of current users .
  • do questionnaire and questionnaire response
    • reach.net is also using the same model
  • when proposal is up on the website - we can review on the call; and send forward communication for potential interest

FHIR Security - John Moehrke

  • change requests have been completed and applied to (generated from ONC/Johnathan Coleman)
  • look at the current build and see if the result looks like as expected (let JohnM know and he can correct---)

FHIR Security call will be held today - few more CPs to be reviewed

  • Kathleen proposes to add safety check list - looking at them from the security view
    • sending over the FHIR for further use
    • (K) segregated security/privacy; perhaps these privacy items should be brought forward to CBCP group
    • way to get consensus so the feedback to FHIR-I (to be worked on today)
