Meeting Minutes

Minutes from the June 24, 2014 CBCC WG meeting were unanimously approved

Johnathan briefed the WG on the status of the project scope statement for Data Provenance

  • The PSS has been approved by the DESD Steering Division
    • The Data Provenance Tiger Team is currently accepting comments on the Implementation Guide

Diana presented the healthcare data provenance use case following the OASIS PMRM template

  • The use case involves transmission of data from a single data source (one author) to a data endpoint, and includes two user stories from the Data Provenance work group
    • The first user story tells of a patient seeking a Specialist's care and having data entered into his EHR by the Specialist, who then electronically sends the information back to the patient's PCP
    • The second user story tells of a patient requesting that her PCP send a copy of the Summary of Care Document to her Specialist, with the understanding that the PCP is the only author of the document and the sender of the information to the Specialist

Behavioral Health Vendor Meeting update

  • DSM-IV/ ICD-9 to ICD-10 mappings were created for the Consent2Share pilots, and could be a useful starting point for future engagement with the vendors. It may be useful for them to know that the free/open-source OBHITA project may provide them with software to aid in converting to ICD-10 and DSM 5.
