6. Security and Privacy Patient Friendly Natural Language for Consent Directives
- A PSS will be submitted to make the existing ballot document more like an IG.
- Rick continues to work on a process flow diagram in Visio that guides the patient through each step of the patient friendly consent directive example according to the patient's preferred security setting: High, Medium or Low. In general, the High setting restricts most of the patient's PHI from being used and shared, the Low setting allows most or all of the PHI to be used and shared, and the Medium setting provides some restrictions, but allows the patient to exercise more flexibility with their consent choices overall.
7. Data Provenance
- The in-person ballot reconciliation of Oliver Lawless', Lisa Nelson's, and Keith Boone's comments will continue on next week's CBCC teleconference.
Meeting adjourned at 1204 PST
