Use of ActivityDefinition

• Walked through how ActivityDefinition might be used to support extraction of information from QuestionnaireResponse
  • Extension pointing to 0..* relevant activity definitions could be put on the Questionnaire root or on the Questionnaire.item that would act as the primary context driving the creation of a resource based on that portion of the Questionnaire
  • ActivityDefinition.kind would indicate the type of resource. Other elements such as ActitvityDefinition.code could indicate fixed values, but most information would be driven by the ActivityDefinition.dynamicValue which would use expression to reference information from the QuestionnaireResponse
  • Will need to define the mechanism to allow passing and referencing "context" of the QuestionnaireResponse item when evaluating the dynamic value expressions. Specifically, will need the context of the item the ActivityDefinition is tied to, but will also need the context of the QuestionnaireResponse root (to access subject, authorTime, encounter and other information) and may need to also provide intervening items to grab answers that are constant across all repetitions of a child item

Brynn will work on this and report back in a couple of weeks. He'll use Brian's examples as a starting point for the exercise.
