Minutes
- Roll Call
- Conversation revolved over concern over the type of resource this is. We're moving a security based resource into a care provision resource. It's role will be confusing to developers who will be unsure what role this resource has.. Possibly two or three divorced resources will ultimately be necessary
- We also need to Need to differentiate use for DocumentReference/Composition and Consent. Should the consent resource point to the document or the document
- Will the Composition resource that contains the document/form information point to the Consent resource for treatment/research or will the Consent resource point to the Composition resource as a source?
- For example consent.pdf has both consent and insurance information and could be a DocumentReference or Composition depending on how the information was brought into the system. If a Composition, then some believe that the Composition would be the primary resource and it would point to the Consent resource for the consent information and an FM resource for the insurance information. The Consent resource would have the information about the consent section for machine use.
- However, it would also be possible that the Consent resource would be the primary and would point to the Composition resource as the source authorization document.
- In order to move forward we feel that this would be needed to be resolved to better give an understanding of the role of the Consent resource. This information will be brought to FHIR-I and FMG for insight
