Ballot Material

Ballot Material Went over the ballot material, specifically the data type flavors section. We used the reconciliation spreadsheet and Word document which was sent out by John Lyons earlier that day.

• Item 147 - Joann made a motion to strike the first sentence and alter the second sentence so that it said This section describes how to define how to define data types and data type specializations that can be referenced in profiles and instances. Charlie made a friendly amendment to add the word local to the string datatypes and datatype specializations. The motion was seconded by Charlie. Motion passed 4-0-0.

• Item 46 - Charlie made a motion to delete the partial sentence in section 8. Len seconded that motion. Motion passed 4-0-0.

• Item 152 - Charlie made a motion to strike the string Packages which contain and alter the sentence to say Data type specializations must identify those datatypes of which they are known to be a valid refinement. Joann made a friendly amendment to use the word shall instead of must. Joann seconded the motion. Motion passed 4-0-0.

• Item 151 - Charlie made a motion to change the text to say Data type specializations can be defined at different levels. and drop the sentence on packaging. We also added These levels include: before the list. Joann seconded that motion. Motion passed 4-0-0.
