Category:Care Coordination Service

The Care Coordination Service is a joint effort between HL7 Patient Care WG, HL7 SOA WG and OMG Healthcare WG. The intent is to create web service specifications based on Care Plan, Health Concern, and Health Record entry which can allow dynamic coordination of patient services. This includes, but is not limited to, exchange of existing patient data, updating status of clinical problems, medication management, diagnostic study plans, and other treatment aspects.

The intent is to create a HL7 web service specification, and (ideally) an implementation guide. Subsequent to adoption and testing by two entities, the SOA specification will be forwarded to OMG for approval per the usual route.
