Issue
Documentation of what test kit was used for laboratory testing needs to be allowed in the clinical statement model.
Recommendation
Add the R_LabTestKit universal CMET to the model, associating it with the Observation and Organizer classes in the model. The test kit would be associated via both a consumable and device participations to both classes. The participations to the Organizer class would have a constraint indicating the only organizer class allowed to use the participations is BATTERY.
- Add a consumable (CSM) participation from Observation to the R_LabTestKit universal CMET. Attributes to include on the CSM participation are:
- contextControlCode (required) CS CNE [1..1] ContextControl, default = “ON”
- A code that specifies how this participation contributes to the context of the current Act, and whether it may be propagated to descendent Acts whose association allows such propagation (see ActRelationship.contextConductionInd). The default value of ON has been associated with this participation.
- sequenceNumber (optional) INT [0..1]
- This is used for sequencing purposes only.
- time (optional) IVL<TS> [0..1]
- An interval of time specifying the time during which the consumable is involved in the act.
- contextControlCode (required) CS CNE [1..1] ContextControl, default = “ON”
- Add a consumable (CSM) participation from Organizer to the R_LabTestKit universal CMET. Include a constraint indicating the participation is used only for the BATTERY organizer.
- contextControlCode (required) CS CNE [1..1] ContextControl, default = “ON”
- Add a consumable (CSM) participation from Criterion to the R_LabTestKit universal CMET.
- contextControlCode (required) CS CNE [1..1] ContextControl, default = “ON”
- Add a device (DEV) participation from Observation to the R_LabTestKit universal CMET. Attributes to include on the DEV participation are:
- contextControlCode (required) CS CNE [1..1] ContextControl, default = “ON”
- A code that specifies how this participation contributes to the context of the current Act, and whether it may be propagated to descendent Acts whose association allows such propagation (see ActRelationship.contextConductionInd).
