Issue
The Clinical Statement Pattern doesn’t support all the subject participation attributes that public health messaging needs to consider.
Recommendation
- Add time, and modeCode to the Subject participation. All these would be optional, with the default data types and cardinality of [0..1].
Rationale
The additional attributes allow us to capture specific data regarding the subjects participation in the related act. For instance if we are documenting a persons participation in an event of interest to public health (perhaps public concert where a biological agent was released), we may want to collect the time the subject arrived and departed the event and how the subject participated (mode).
