Issue

Need to record the location of the act.

Recommendation

Include a location participation from the ClinicalStatementChoice to a R_LocationServiceDelivery CMET.

Rationale

The location of an act is required especially in the case of health services.

Discussion

Proposal is to add R_LocationServiceDelivery CMET. There is a general concern with using this CMET as is, and CMETs in general. Question is whether to start small (subset of the CMET) and let use cases drive additional attributes/relationship, or start with the CMET and constrain it. In general, we prefer not to use CMETs but rather use explicit subsets during initial discussions, request enhancements to the CMET to the owning committee in question if it's missing something, and then create a properly constrained CMET before closing out.

Resolution

A motion was made to accept the proposal to add Location to the Clinical Statement pattern and use the CDA location construct as the starting point. Against: 0, Abstain: 0, In Favor: 5
