Interoperability testing framework.
Item: Project
General discussion about the CPP.
Review of schedule drivers for participating organizations.
Brent Gendleman: 5MA Solutions - April
FamilyHelix is quite similar to MFHP, but it supports storage of data on the server.
Next release is slated for an April release.
Jennifer Hass: Brigham & Women's - July
Using Surgeon General's tool as the foundation for a new (?) project. It will have a focus on chronic conditions. Remaining work includes determining terminology systems (e.g. SNOMED) used in messages.
BWH has a fall release, but QA needs to start in July.
Grant Wood: Intermountain - July
Version 1, slated for July, might use PDF with V3 message to follow. However, availability of a CPP tool set might simplify matters and change the content.
Project hosting options.
Not clear if there are restrictions imposed by HL7 on the need for discussions to be public that will affect where data & tools are hosted.
Item: Clinical
Criteria for developing a pool of clinically relevant reference pedigrees and corresponding HL7 messages.
Goal is to have outline of pedigrees by end of March.
Item: Technical
Available options to automatically test two HL7 pedigree messages for equivalence.
Discussion about clinical vs technical equivalence. The former would allow a comparison of the family health history today vs. what was believed to be accurate N months ago. The latter lets two messages that are expected to be equivalent to be verified.
Clinical equivalence is out of scope for now.
Assisting with technical equivalence is definitely in scope.
Service to automatically draw a genogram given an HL7 pedigree message.
Misconception that the CPP will create a new drawing tool was cleared up. Any available genotype drawing tool that is available will be used. Those diagrams are supporting material for testers, not target representations that need to be matched.
Interoperability testing framework.
Open Questions and Action Items
Need mailing list dedicated to CPP.
Set up separate list serve for CPP discussions - hosted by HL7 - might need a formal project. Kevin & Mollie as co-chairs will investigate.
Need to find a list sooner rather then later. For now, use ad hoc lists and present summaries to the SDO groups.
