Today's abbreviated meeting centered on finalizing the Baltimore agenda as well as introduced a new member from SAMHSA to the CBCC work group, Kate (kathryn) Wetherby

• Erin Fitzsimmons joined the call again today to confirm the session between CBCC and Mobile Health on Tuesday, Q3.
• Richard and Kate agreed that there are a number of initiatives underway in SAMHSA that relate to mobile health (e.g., use of smart phone by clients in the field to capture self-reported information regarding their status, information that has been shown through research and data collection to be valuable indicators of treatment effectiveness)
• The idea is that mobile devices will be used by consumers to collect health-related data to be stored in a personal health record (PHR) or similar application (App).
  • These data could then be shared with others (e.g., family, friends, caregivers, providers, entities) either through access directly to the PHR or App, or through some interface between PHR and a provider's EHR).
