2 ONC Interoperability Standards Advisory (ISA) [Led by Walter Suarez]
  • ISA Website
  • HL7 Comments on ONC’s 2018 ISA Advisory
  • ONC issued a request for information (RFI) on criteria to measure the performance of certified electronic health record technology (CEHRT). The Cures Act requires that health IT developers report information on certified health IT as a condition of certification and maintenance of certification under the ONC Health IT Certification Program.
    • Walter walked through the different areas of the ISA Advisory
    • CQI discussed the different areas and identified a number of comments that CQI will provide to HL7 for their inclusion in the combined HL7 comments that will be provided to ONC.
      • Comments includes updates to Adoption Level for currently listed standards and addition of new versions of existing standards and new standards
      • Walter will create an updated document based upon today's discuss and will present it next week for final review and approval by CQI

4 Review RDAM Immunization Report White Paper (Steve Huffnagel) - for comments and feedback - Immunization Pilot White Paper September 2018
  • Steve presented the White Paper
    • Discussion occurred related to the usage of the term 'maturity' related to CQI standards and add missing CQI works (.e.g, Clinical Reasoning).
    • Next cycle, the White Paper group will clinical validate the artifact and update the White Paper based upon findings.
    • It was stated that the White Paper group needs to work with Public Health to ensure their activities are represented within the White Paper.
