- Bolded Items were discussed/annotated to the agenda
- Record this call
- Agenda review
- Review and approval of minutes (if available)
- (at 5:00 pm EDT) The HSPC namespace (start from International edition, US edition, other?) - Stan
- Special invite to Keith and Monique and Jim Case (Susan will email Jim)
- The goal is that concepts used in CIMI/HSPC should be available to all international participants
- Proposal
- International release, promote concepts from US Edition, HSPC extension
- For things in the US Edition that CIMI/HSPC need, CIMI would give a list to NLM (Jim) and they would ask for those concepts to be promoted to the International Release
- New concepts
- If we need it immediately (sooner than a few months) we create concepts in the HSPC extension, then submit the concepts directly to SNOMED International for inclusion in the International release
- If the HSPC concept is a subtype of a concept in the US Extension, then we need to request promotion of both the US concept and HSPC concepts to SNOMED International
- If we can wait for a few months, we can submit the concepts through the regular SNOMED request process
