Minutes/Conclusions Reached:
V3 Patient Encounter Topic
The WG reviewed the verson 3 Patient Encounter situation. Because the topic was not officially published within 12 months of the reconciliation, HL7 HQ is requiring a withdrawal and resubmission of the entire topic. The issue primarily has to do with a misunderstanding of the requirements once the balloter has withdrawn their negative vote. The WG considered the withdrawal sufficient to publish, but found out later that having the balloter withdraw through the ballot website and send an email were not enough. A ballot reconciliation spreadsheet was still needed, even though the balloter knew that a harmonization of the Patient Administration Encounter topic and the Patient Care, Care Provision models would answer his concerns. This is the reason we had no reconciliation spreadsheet: we reached out directly via email with the work group and the balloter withdrew their negative vote.

A motion was made by Nat Wong to withdraw the Patient Encounter topic entirely and approve the PSS for the Patient Encounter topic so that it might be published in the closest ballot cycle. Alexander Henket seconded.

FHIR Work
The WG continued on with the FHIR work. This entailed discussing and validating some of the existing codesystems that might be used for some of the FHIR resource attributes. FHIR Practitioner resource

For most items there were v2 and v3 rources, but for nearly all, the WG was able to get information from the v3 code systems (SNOMED, etc,). There were some that apparently did not have good code examples (e.g. Visit.hospitalization.preAdmissionTest), so Ewout and the group agreed to continue the conversation on the listserve.
