Minutes
Include Project 831 - EHR-S FM Profiling tool under the SAIF AP Umbrella
- Steve, Patrick: Do not think it needs to go in under the umbrella.
- Patrick: Understand the need for discussion by this group.
- Austin: There is a relationship between the Artifact Definition and this project, but it's not really a dependancy. Has the most impact on the Artifact Definition, and this tool may be a candidate to assist that project, but doesn't need to be brought in under the SAIF AP. There is a relationship between the Artifact Definition and this project.
Setting our agenda for this trimester
- Rick: Is there a need to pursue Grahame Grieve's FHIR project and it's relationship to SAIF AP?
- Austin: Grahame is analyzing what SAIF will look like with FHIR, and once he is done with that, the SAIF AP team should review his work.
- Austin: Believes that at some point FHIR should be brought in under the SAIF AP umbrella.
- Jane: Focus on governance and framework, even if only from an abstract point of view.
- Austin: Continue to examine governance and how to integrate that into the SAIF IG. Look at other governance that's already in place (e.g. RIM Harmonization), and here's the governance process you are using (validates the behavior that we want to continue), then discern what risks those processes are trying to address. We are not trying to impose new governance processes. We will probably identify multiple processes that do the same thing. A difficult thing about the GOM is there isn't a framework
- Next Step: Conduct a brainstorming session to identify governance processes that are already in place. Perhaps create a Wiki page to allow people to enter their items.
Pilot Coordination updates (Rick Haddorff)
- Rick - Upload the CMAP diagrams to GForge
- First diagram: CMAP of SAIF CD
- 2nd Diagram: Reflects a deeper dive of OO Composite Order work and where their work fits into the process. Rick is working with Patrick to validate the OO Composite Order CMAP diagram.
- Next Step: Work with Steve Hufnagel and EHR to create CMAP for EHR SAIF work.
Project Status Updates
- CDA R3 (Kreisler) - Continuing to work at implementing various decisions that were part of their task tracker spreadsheet that contains changes needed for R3. Determining what modeling changes stem from those items as well. Hoping they may have something ready for the Sept 2012 Ballot Cycle.
- EHR Functional Information Model (Hufnagel) - Have been experimenting with ways to present information. Working on a prototype using Manage Immunization Administration, which brought out quite a few alternatives in modeling.
Adjourned 13:07 PM Eastern Time
New Action Items
Rick - upload CMAP diagrams onto SAIF AP Docs in GForge
Steve - Email Dave the EHR FIM slides ; Dave to include them in the minutes
