Minutes

Review the current status of the Risk Assessment and Governance for SAIF Architecture Program (TSC) project

  • Prepare for the discussion in San Antonio
  • Jane: There are a number of critical interest to HL7 in general that is not necessarily associated with a project.

For example, is HL7 paying attention to development outside of itself, so HL7 doesn't become irrelevant?

  • Austin: From the TSC perspective, the principle focus is inside the organization. At the TSC meetings we have time for discussion of Critical Success Factors and SAIF Governance.
  • During the TSCs Strategic Initiative Dashboard discussion in San Antonio (Q1 Saturday), include discussions regarding Critical Success Factors and Governance.

Should we retain the SIAF Facilitator role on the 2012 PSS template?

  • Over the past year, 9% of PSS had this filled in (7 of 74)
  • Austin: Is this a role that the SAIF AP defines or the ArB defines? Or Both? Jane feels both.
  • Austin feels that by retaining the role on the PSS Form, its not doing any damage.

Adjourned 12:40 PM Eastern Time

New Action Items

Austin - Modify the Saturday TSC Agenda based on today's Risk Assessment and Governance for SAIF AP discussion
Dave - Create a GForge Action Item to have the ArB and/or SAIF AP team define the SAIF Facilitator Role.
