Meeting Minutes (DRAFT)

Role take, Agenda Approved

  • Suzanne chaired. Role taken Agenda Approved informally
  • Minutes for November 14, 2017 - Approved Vote: 9-0-0
  • RE Security and Privacy Impact Assessment Cookbook SUR Definition - Suzanne reported about another email exchange with Anne Wizauer who indicated that this topic is on the SGB agenda call for 11/22 in hopes to get more traction.
  • No update on TF4FA or S&P DAM revisions.
  • David Pyke noted that since there was no meeting last week so nothing to report. He discussed FHIR Change Proposals he's been working on: Consent.scope to cover the four use cases. Added a fifth for US specific consents. Looking for consent directive types for different scopes. Found only one treatment and surgical consent code from New York State Surgical and Invasive Procedure Protocol, which applies to all operative and invasive procedures including endoscopy, general surgery etc. Kathleen referenced v2 Consent Type @ http://www.hl7.eu/refactored/tab0496.html
  • Created Research consent categories but would like more code lists for Research consents. Asked Saurav if there are research consent types.
  • US privacy consent category code lists. Seems comprehensive, and because it's a codeable concept, anyone can add ones that they need. Would like state specific examples.
  • Has put in the Advanced Directive consent category codes example list - DNR HCD, Physician Order for Life Sustaining Treatment Form. These items will be going into build a week from Thursday
  • Need RIM mapping as this is a FHIR Build requirement. Not sure how to say there's no RIM mapping. For example, no Consent.scope map. Kathleen confirmed that there is no map because v3 RIM only deals with privacy consent directives. May be some CDA value sets. but not investigated.
  • Nothing else to discuss until there's an opportunity to have more FHIR SME participants to review the example codes.
  • Kathleen noted that with respect to the research use case - you should be able to put in an attachment to questionnaire response (source document) and add what kind of questionnaire response needed from the research group.
  • STU4 should be coming up next fall.
