Architectural Integration is an examination of how tools can work together to produce a value add product. The integration can be loosly coupled (the output of one tool is input to another tool) or tightly coupled (one tool can be an add on or be invoked from another tool). On of the objectives of this project is to see to what extent the objectives of each tool are complimentary and produce advantages to the end user without necessarily duplicating functionality.
