Agenda

Agenda Topics

  1. finding the right files
  2. confirm model properties for first model
  3. assessment of CQI project impact

Minutes

Minutes/Conclusions Reached:

  1. Latest models are in GitHub. ClinicalElement site is periodically refreshed. HSPC FHIR profiles are derived from CEMs not CIMIs.
    1. Observation has been renamed ObservationResult
  2. AML subclasses constrain superclasses; no properties can be added.
    1. Galen has an alpha Sparx AML plug-in; will share contact for those interested.
  3. Discussion of semantic bindings
    1. In order of increasing semantic scope:
      1. about (available for all nodes, but relevant to the model at the root item_group node) - sct for skin color.
        1. This is specified in the archetype, not in an instance.
      2. code - loinc for skin color (a loinc observation with axes, an observation) Could have multiple options.
        1. "About" binding for code - not "technique," is it?
      3. model itself - includes all model semantics. "CIMI-CORE-ITEM_GROUP.skin_condition.v1"
        1. archetype ID
    2. CEM key looks like #3, but because a key can manage a domain it's really more like #1.
    3. Questions
      1. if 2 is LOINC, can 1 be as well? Or a LOINC observable expression? Or the root observable from such an expression?
      2. Jay, no Harold, to formulate above coding list for review on Thursday's call.
  4. other topics not reached; adjourned.
