   1. Needs to be framed around the ECCF
   2. Jane Curry - my prefeence is the ECCF - you cant tell what the subjects of WI for BF are without ECCF.
   3. Andy The focus should be the executive summary. What is needed that is missing is positioning the four frameworks up front. The ECCF places the artifacts, and their relationships. We need to have something in the intro that describes the role of the frameworks for the reader to understand the assessment of WI. Yu cant choose just one, but must undestand all four.
   4. Charlie Mead: Andy, you will be authoring the introduction?
   5. Andy Bond: Yes
   6. Charlie Mead: Are you ok with the table of contents following the introduction?.
   7. Andy Bond: The TOC will setup the frameworks and the positioning of the frameworks, and where we are defaulting people to go first. We need a diagram that covers the ECCF.
   8. Charlie Mead: I will send out an e-mail, asking John and Zoran to commit to the BF.
   9. Jane Curry: Word as a pdf?
   10. Charlie Mead: yes, that is what John Quinn said. We are not writing about HL7, this is a canonical version, not an implementation guide. You are outlineing a mult-dimensional framework.
   11. Jane Curry: Yes.
   12. Tony Julian: I have to submit a placeholder.
   13. Jane Curry: They need it for production.
   14. Tony will collate for publication. Content needs to be sent to the ArB NLT March 20, 2011.
   15. Charlie Mead: We told the TSC we might not make the deadline - but we will try very hard. NCI is publishing the SAIF IG including technology viewpoint in anticipation of the canonical form on March 16, 2011. It would be nice if we can submit to ballot.
6. Other business and planning for next meeting
   1. Cecil Lynch: The IG for genomic representation including the genetics: they have included genes as acts rather than entities. I modelled as an entity. The question is, for the things we are doing at NCI, CCIS, etc, are we going to feed them back into HL7?
   2. Charlie Mead: Yes
   3. Jane Curry: Are they observations of a gene?
   4. Cecil Lynch: The class is gene, subtype of observation. They did not model as entity with relationship to act due to content from Barry Smith. They only talk about genes as the function. As we go along, genes are used to correct illness - how do you talk about an act that has physical space. I modeled as an entity for the service. The project is bringing up a number of issues - the difference between how clinical people and basic scientist think of the gene.
   5. Jane Curry: Karen has put all of the material in Gforge.
