SAIF IG proposal

This page is intended for the development of a set of proposals to create the necessary methodology and documents for implementing SAIF. We see at least three projects:

Scoping the SAIF Implementation Guide

• Deliverables: Chapter/Section Outline with descriptions of each chapter and section
• Timeframe: 2 weeks for initial outline, 4 weeks review, 2 weeks final edits
• Budget:

  • Concern that digging into GF (governance framework) 'can-of-worms'
    • SAIF CD document talks about relationship between ECCF, IF, BF, and GF. To minimize risk, complete ECCF, IF, BF in first version of SAIF IG
  • Process has suffered from lack of resources from the beginning, and now a 'coup' has enthusiastically grabbed a few key remaining resources...
  • Do we continue with OO knowing the OO process is without rudder (the SAIF IG is the rudder); OR stop OO, do IG, then restart OO?

Develop the SAIF Implementation Guide

• Timeframe: 12 months

  • Initial Document Review: 4 months (faster if OOC)
