QRDA Category I Release 1 STU 5.1 is available for 2-weeks of Members Only review. Two Weeks review period starts Oct 26th, 2018

QRDA Category I Release 1 STU 5.1 Update main changes include the following:

• QRDA Category I STU 5.1 supports QDM 5.4 and addresses the errata approved since the publication of QRDA Category I R1 STU 5.
  • QDM 5.4 update details can be found in the Change Log of the QDM 5.4 specification.
    • Added Assessment, Order
    • Added Communication, Performed
    • Communication from Provider to Provider, Communication from Provider to Patient, and Communication from Patient to Provider are merged into a single QDM datatype Communication, Performed
    • Removed Communication from Provider to Provider, Communication from Provider to Patient, and Communication from Patient to Provider
    • Added “daysSupplied” to: Medication, Order; Medication, Dispensed; and Medication, Discharge
    • Added “prescriberIdentifier” to: Medication, Order; Medication, Dispensed
    • Added “dispenserIdentifier” to: Medication, Dispensed
    • Added “setting” to: Medication, Order
    • Removed “supply” attribute from: Medication, Active; Medication, Administered; Substance, Administered; Substance, Recommended; and Immunization, Administered
    • Removed “method” attribute from all QDM datatypes with a “recommended” or “order” context, e.g., Assessment, Order

• Helpful notes for reviewers:
  • IG Vol 1 Appendix B High-Level Change Log provides high level changes made to both Vol 1 and Vol 2
  • IG Vol 2 Templates that are updated are labeled with "DRAFT". Previously published templates are labeled with "PUBLISHED"
  • IG Vol 2 Chapter 9 Changes from the Previous Version provides detailed changes at conformance statements level for templates that have newer versions
