Observation General CMET
- A general observation represents the fact that the Lab Observation DMIM also serves to represent a wide variety of relatively unspecialized observations. All the participations general observation are addressed within the Laboratory Domain Message Information Model (DMIM) Act Relationships
- There is a single act relationship that is not addressed within the Laboratory DMIM.
- Reference Range
- An observation event is associated with zero to many observation event criteria. These are acts that contain additional information that provides context for the data passed in observation event value. Typical reference ranges indicate the normal high and low values of an observation for a particular population. The reader should note that the particular criteria for a specific reference range are captured as an associated observation.
