Background
The NHS have funded the development of the first phase of an HL7 Static Model Designer (SMD). During the analysis phase it was decided that the application will be built upon the eclipse rich client platform RCP, utilising Eclipse modeling technologies such as EMF and GMF.
It is anticipated that this tool we will released be under an open source license and will be available from the Open Health Tools repository.
