SAIF Artifact Definition and Project

Discussed the status of the SAIF Project at the TSC and the SAIF Implementation Guide project in MnM. Noted that the latter will be the primary focus for MnM's methodology-related activity through the next couple of years, now that Core Principles has (apparently) completed balloting.

Further,

• Artifact Definition calls will resume on Friday
• Lloyd will send out an invite

July Harmonization Status

Initial deadline was last Sunday. There were:

• About a dozen non-RIM vocabulary proposals from Canada and one from Infobutton
• Anticipate will complete in one day.
• Were no submissions of design patterns, but agreed to schedule a day during the Harmonization schedule to review initial efforts and draw up some rules/guidelines as to what constitutes an approvable pattern and how they will fit into definitions of "model quality"

June 22th -

• Further planning for of Design Pattern discussions during Harmonization
• Clean up MnM Gforge Project particularly:
  • Tracker Can we close these two items?
  • Similarly, Project Tasks
  • Similarly Core Principles Tracker
• Look at Action Items

June 29th -

• hData and the RIM - Whither we goeth?

  In Orlando, MnM promised to work these issues during conference calls, but to date, Gerald Beuchelt has shown up regularly but none of the other key players has been there.

  • Need: Gerald Beuchelt, Lloyd McKenzie, Graham Grieve, John Koisch, Ann Wrightson
  • GWB to send a note highlighting this date.
