The International HL7 Interoperability Conference (IHIC) is an annual meeting event which focuses on the exchange of international experiences with the implementation of the Health Level 7 standards. Known until 2005 as the International Affiliates Meeting, IHIC - in contrast to regular HL7 Working Group Meetings - does not involve work on the HL7 Standards, but provides a forum for implementers of the HL7 Standards.
