The Focal Class(es) refers to the classes undergoing state transition as part of a trigger event. It is possible to have a trigger event that deals with direct state transitions on Role and Entity, though this does not occur when dealing with "Registry" messages (whose state transitions are always on the Registration Act).

Note that this is not the same as the Entry Point Class- this refers to classes that are marked as entry points.
