The HL7 Process Improvement Committee (PIC) is piloting a project to help Work Groups find volunteers with particular skill or interest sets to work with that Work Group, and the converse - to help volunteers with particular interests or skills "advertise" their availability for Work Groups.
The initial implementation uses two Wiki "Categories":
- Category:Volunteer Wanted by HL7 Work Group and
- Category:Volunteer Available
- Category:Volunteer Occupied for volunteers who have been available but currently have no time to commit.
as the posting sites for these two forms of "offer." In each case, the category also includes a Template that the poster is requested to use when building their listing page.
