The current iteration of the document ontology can be viewed via the LOINC database, freely available at the LOINC website.  A Windows-based mapping utility called the Regenstrief LOINC Mapping Assistant (RELMA®) is provided by the Regenstrief Institute, thus assisting in searching and mapping. Also useful to the current published iteration of the Document Ontology is the [http://www.regenstrief.org/loinc/download/loinc/guide/LOINCManual.pdf LOINC Users' Guide](pp.59-68).

The Document Ontology site is intended to provide easy access to working files, documents and links related to LOINC document and section names, both current and under development. The Document Ontology is a component supporting the Clinical Document Architecture, as developed by the HL7 Structured Document Technical Committee (SDTC).

Also useful to the current published iteration of the Document Ontology is the LOINC Users' Guide(pp.59-68).

For on-going document/section name work please see: [1] as well as the working DRAFT file Document Title Work_May2006.
