Data Types Issue 52: Missing demotions
Introduction
From Paul and Grahame's last editorial pass for R1 prior to ANSI approval:
It may be necessary to define some new promotion methods in the data types specification to recognize some of the following demotions that do not currently have a promotion method defined for them:
LIST<IVL<TS>> --> GTS HXIT<T> --> HIST<T>
Discussion
