Announcements

Harold gave the following update on the CTS2N activities:

  • AMIA Poster on CTS2 - Presented by Craig, well received
  • OMG Spec should be final final this week and http://omg.org/cts2 should go to the final documents - will be doing press releases w/ Mayo, OMG, HL7 and others
  • Poster at NCBC on CTS2 Thursday and Friday
  • Meeting with NLM on ONC Meaningful use and CTS2 and next steps for CTS2 on UMLS
  • CTS2 Client continuing in HyperModel/MDHT tools - Dave Carlson working on it
  • IHTSDO Implementation Guide is now out on Wiki on IHTSDO Collabnet - still filling it out but a good start
  • py4cts2 server continues to evolve w/ SNOMED content
  • 2 half day tutorials at next HL7 meeting - one high level and one technical. Need to integrate CTS2 N into this
  • Will end up with profiles, one way or another for IHTSDO IG - need to feed back to CTS2N
  • SHARP grant project - will be hosting value sets on CTS2 Server (more to come)
  • CTS2 Presentation will be given at HIT Standards Meeting on Nov 13 - by Chris Chute
  • CTS2 requirements being fed back to API4KB project at OMG.
  • USHIK (AHRQ) looking at hosting CTS2 image for standardes metadata
  • Investigating possibility of CTS2 front ent for PHIN Vads (CDC Phin Vads)

SFM work

  • Ana went over the SFM with Harold pointing areas where changes were made from the DSTU.
  • Harold pointed out that IHE SVS is not CTS2 compliant the way it is defined in the SFM since it does not support the minimal functionalities. Ana proposed to discuss this in group.
