Summary

  • Various implementers of RIMBAA applications have reported a lack of support by the RIM for concepts such as '(software) user', 'account', 'user group', 'access rights'. Those things one needs to support Single Sign On (SSO) functionality. The RIM should be extended to support these concepts.
    • Workitem accepted during the 2010-01 Phoenix WGM. May have an overlap with work by the security WG.
