Dealing with Issues Raised at WGM
Many of the questions raised at the WGM suggest the need for a FAQ relative to V3 Publishing. These would cover such questions as to what constitutes adequate documentation of a static model; what is the deal behind the funky numeric suffixes in static models (formal naming); and How is the sort order determined in a generated schema.
On further consideration, we also agreed to start a "V3 Publishing Issues" 'category' on the Wiki to function in the same fashion as the MnM "Hot Topics" category. Moreover, most of the questions raised during the WGM should be relfected as an issue that is then "closed" by incorporating the response in the FAQ or some other "linkable" resource.
In that regard, Gregg fou8nd the static model documentation minutes in the V3 Publishing Conference Call Minutes for March 5, 2008.
Inclusion of License Terms in "published" documents
Beeler noted that he is working to (a) make the MIF2 to MIF-lite transform actually produce "lite" content and, simultaneously, (b) to include "license terms" notations, particularly for those items released under an Eclipse Public License. It was further notes that the current "terms" expressed in the schemas are the same as that used for the HL7 development tools, but that thius should (probably) also be under the EPL.
Forthcoming CBC Deadline
The CBC and Project Scope Statement deadlines are this coming Sunday at mid-night. MnM will take on ownership of (at least) Abstract Datatypes per an agreement struck with InM this past week to pass the DT responsibility to MnM.
