Minutes

  • Chair: Russell Leftwich
  • Scribe: Michelle Miller
  • Motion to approve previous call minutes, 2017-03-24_Learning_Health_Systems_Call and 2017-03-17_Learning_Health_Systems_Call: Stephen/Michelle
  • Recapped Orthopedic Care team Encounter to Longitudinal Care Use Cases Walkthrough (spreadsheet) - specifically, LHS made recommendations to Patient Care (to address via GF#12509)
    • CareTeam.participant.role (existing) 0..* - need to update definition of role (since it mentions responsibility) Example: PCP
    • CareTeam.participant.responsibility 0..* (new) - Example: PT, Wound Care
    • CareTeam.participant.specialty 0..*
  • Stephen added attachments to the Patient-Centered CareTeam DAM
  • Stephen asked attendees to review value set - shown on the "CP.category-Domain" tab within Care team Value Set - Working Progress document version 2017-03-24 (spreadsheet)
    • universal jurisdiction
    • Lisa suggested there should be a SINGLE longitudinal care coordination team orchestrating care whereas there could be MULTIPLE condition-focused care teams -- which implies that the congestive heart failure use case should be condition-focused care team (not longitudinal care team)
    • Future action item: Patient Care should further refine the definition of or rename "Longitudinal Care Coordination" in context of the CareTeam.category because longitudinally may exist in other categories (e.g. conditions might span time as well).
  • Next week, spend a quarter of the time (15 minutes) discussing category-setting and the rest of the time will be spent discussing category-domain
