Concern model Mindmap

Stephen - walked group through mind map as below.

Initial Health Concern concept

A condition may or may not be a problem (e.g. pregnancy). However, there may be risks. Health goals, preferences and interventions may not be related to the health concern model. However, you may wish to track treatment/effectiveness in relation to a health concern.

Tracking an intervention will help with the association to a condition. New line added between condition and intervention.

updated Health Concern concept

If we agree on the mind map (conceptual model), can begin the UML diagrams for the logical model. This will then be used in the DAM.

Does HL7 distinguish between problem and diagnosis? There is a debate but a diagnosis is a clinical opinion, while a problem may not have such clinical rigor, based on a patient comment.

Motion to approve this conceptual model: Michael/Stephen.

Against – 0, Abstain – 0, Approve – 5

Next step is to find a modeler and to write the story boards for the Domain Analysis Model. Need to show the mind map to others for their concurrence. Michael will send out requests for story boards.

Stephen will update the slide deck
