Source: the runtime component of the Messaging Infrastructure that transmits the message to the Destination. The Source lives in the Messaging Infrastructure Layer and implements the semantics of the specific Messaging Protocol. The communication between Source and Sender is through APIs provided by the implementation of the protocol (Java, .NET Framework, CORBA, COM…)
